James Coleman papers, 1863-1865.

This collection consists of seven Civil War era papers, dated 1863-1865. The papers are military orders, telegraph messages, and notes between Confederate officers and others, including Captain (later Colonel) James Coleman, George M. Dugan, J. Hill, Brig. Gen. Brayman, Peter Fresenius, Major Frank Gardner, and John M. Morris. Locations include Bolivar, Tennessee; Camp Lookout Mountain; Jackson, Mississippi; Grenada, Mississippi; and Meridian, Mississippi.
